Lochsa Civil Engineering provided the complete civil design for this 8.7 million square foot facility located on the North East corner of Riviera and Las Vegas Boulevard South. Included extensive on-site and off-site utility and roadway design including the widening of Las Vegas Boulevard South. Also included design of 2 ea. 12" force main sewer lines, 3 ea. 12" water main connections, and an onsite storm drain detention line to handle roof drains. 4 ea. gravity flow 8" sewer lines, 5 ea. ramps to the docks and underground parking, and an emergency egress ramp between Fontainebleau and Turnberry place for use by the Turnberry residents in the event of an emergency. Construction began November 1, 2007 and is expected to be complete by November 1, 2009 at a projected cost of $2.9 billion.
