Lochsa Engineering provided architectural and structural services for this new wastewater treatment facility in Greenleaf, Idaho. Currently all building structures in the City of Greenleaf are connected to septic tanks and drain fields, which potentially could contaminate groundwater contamination.
This full operational water treatment plant will include two oxidation ditches and two clarification tanks and numerous out buildings to provide complete sewage treatment for the City of Greenleaf. Ground water issues for buried tanks were taken into consideration in the design process. The plant will have the capacity to treat 240,000 gallons of wastewater per day.
