Parkview Christian Church

The project consisted of a 16,800 square foot 1 story Sanctuary Building and Meeting Rooms addition, a 1,400 square foot 1 story Kitchen and Storage addition and a 1,200 square foot 1 story Maintenance building addition.

Lochsa Engineering provided full structural engineering design services for the Sanctuary Building and Meeting Rooms Addition, Kitchen and Storage Building Addition, and provided the foundation design of the Maintenance Building. 

The Sanctuary portion of the building was constructed using steel deck over open web steel joists and beams supported on exterior masonry bearing walls with the Meeting Rooms being constructed utilizing plywood roof deck over open web wood trusses supported on interior and exterior wood stud bearing walls and wood beam system with the foundation system consisting of a conventional spread footing system. 

The Kitchen and Storage Building Addition was constructed utilizing plywood roof deck over open web wood trusses supported on the existing building masonry walls interior and exterior wood stud bearing walls and wood beam system with the foundation system consisting of a conventional spread footing system.

Lochsa provided the foundation design for the 1 story pre-engineering Maintenance Building.
