Rocky Mountain High School

This 262,000 SF, two story high school includes a gymnasium, auditorium, cafeteria, classroom space, and other associated areas with typical high school facilities. The facility houses 1,800 students on a daily basis. Outbuildings for maintenance and concessions were also included in the design.  Structural systems consisted of steel decking over open web steel bar joists in the roof.  A composite floor system of concrete over steel decking was utilized.  Load bearing masonry walls were used for gravity and lateral resisting elements.
