This bingo and casino gaming facility, designed for the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, offers a simple, comfortable and inviting gaming environment that complements the surrounding area while articulating the tribe’s cultural motifs in various areas throughout the property. The 3-story projected consisted of 480,000 square foot building area with over 220,000 square feet of gaming area. The facility features a 2,000 person bingo/concert hall; poker room; high limits gaming area; retail shop; bars; buffet restaurant; food court; entertainment lounge and underground VIP parking.
The structure consists of structural steel framing supported on drilled pier foundations laterally braced with grade beams. The floors are 7 ½ inch composite steel decks with 4 ½ inches of hard rock concrete over the deck flutes. Given the site’s close proximity to the highly active San Andreas Fault, the lateral system features slotted web, special moment resisting frames to accommodate the anticipated seismic ground accelerations.
