Survey Technician III Field Operations

Must possess 2 years Minimum in the support of field crew operations.

Unless assigned otherwise, construction staking calculations for layout and preparation of field exhibits, hard copies and standard notes will be your primary responsibility.

As directed, you will prepare mapping type of items, Legal descriptions, topographic surveys, boundary research/resolution, parcel maps, sub maps and record of survey maps.

Employee is expected to create all of the above utilizing employer supplied software including but not limited to: AutoCAD versions 09 through 3D 2021, Excel, Land desktop, Outlook, Trimble software and Microsoft word.

As needed, the employee is expected to assist with survey field work. including Survey chain man and/or Survey party chief duties. The employee must have and possess a current Nevada driver’s license. The employee may be driving company work trucks, or on occasion, their own vehicle to and from a work site. An LSI or PLS is a plus.

The employee is expected to maintain good personal hygiene. The employee is required to sit for long periods of time. The employee must be able to walk on uneven surfaces such as construction sites and land. The employee is expected to lift up to 40 pounds. The employee is expected to work outside in inclement conditions such as cold, heat and wind.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
