The building served as an expansion of the city’s municipal court system with the construction of a 96,000SF two story building. The building was designed to add three additional court rooms, a detention facility, administrative offices, booking facilities, and house the city attorney general’s criminal division.
Lochsa Engineering provided traffic planning services in the form of a traffic impact study of the adjacent roadways and intersections. Lochsa Engineering was responsible for the providing design services to integrate the project driveways and sidewalks into the existing adjacent principal arterials. This process required local government and state DOT approval due to the presence of a state maintained roadway adjacent to the site.
