The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is a municipal natural history and science museum in Denver, Colorado. It is a resource for informal science education in the Rocky Mountain region. This post-tension concrete parking garage on Boise State University’s campus is five levels, 720 spaces and 225,540 SF. This is an addition to an existing parking structure, thus requiring addtional coordination between disciplines.
Lochsa Engineering provided the structural engineering services for this renovation and rebuild project. The 60,000 SF warehouse was renovated while the existing office was demolished and rebuilt into a 27,867 SF two story office structure. Portions of the roof structure of the warehouse was shored up and protected during this process.
