This two-building complex was created by utilizing common concrete tilt-up panels as the major building component and highlighting them in a unique and creative perspective.  The exterior concrete panels range in size, intersect each other at different angles, come through exterior walls and are painted five different desert colors, creating a consistent and contemporary appearance.  The entrances of both buildings showcase generous plazas, creating a courtyard effect.  Skylights are also featured throughout each building.

Lochsa Engineering helped contribute to the success of this unique building complex by engineering the 9,000 and 27,000 square foot buildings plus balancing the parking and landscaping requirements established by Clark County, Nevada.  The flood control design efforts included hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of storm runoff flows through Decatur Boulevard and Patrick Lane, as well as the runoff flows within the existing US Army Corps of Engineers (USACOE) Lower Blue Diamond Channel through the site.  Lochsa Engineering obtained the required USACOE approval to drain into the Channel.  The project received a Citation Award from the AIA Nevada Design Awards 2003 – Built Category.
