The 167,000-square-foot casino resort is designed with a variety of amenities to draw customers — a 300-room hotel in a 15-story tower to capitalize on the views, a 500-seat event center, buffet and gourmet restaurants, a coffee shop/café and a central bar.
The Scarlet Pearl will transform what was once the Old Town section of D’Iberville, which had been devastated by Hurricane Katrina, into a dynamic new tourist attraction for the city.
Lochsa performed the engineering and shop drawings submittal for the exterior skin of the casino. The exterior skin was panelized due to limited layout space at the site. The shop drawings produced had both light gauge panel drawings and finish drawings to help coordinate the EIFS colors on site. The panel joints had to be coordinated with the joints as shown in the architectural drawings
