Located in North Battleford, this hospital is the first mental health facility to be built in Saskatchewan, Canada, and is currently nearing completion. With personal rooms and naturally-lit common spaces, this 284-bed facility is designed to make patients feel like they are at home rather than in a hospital.
The 271,000-square-foot care center is home to a variety of clinics that offer services to United States veterans. The design of the facility is unique in the fact that different departments and medical services are located in separate wings joined by a central, three-story atrium space.
The Tom Bradley International Terminal is a 750,000 square foot renovation located at Los Angeles International Airport. Lochsa performed the structural engineering for the interior and exterior light gauge renovations. The aggressive nature of this project required Lochsa to create innovative non-industry standard framing concepts in order to meet strict deadlines.
Sitting directly across from the student union, the Boise State Honors College has its first full-fledged home after nearly 40 years of honors programming. Lochsa provided structural engineering services for the new building which offers a variety of living and learning facilities, including dining areas, classrooms, study spaces and housing for 300 honors students.
The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is a municipal natural history and science museum in Denver, Colorado. It is a resource for informal science education in the Rocky Mountain region. A variety of exhibitions, programs, and activities help museum visitors learn about the natural history of Colorado, Earth, and the universe.
This two phase project; the first phase adds 14,400 SF to the existing facility while remodeling only a portion of the existing floor. The building is classified as “Mission Critical”, per VA standards and is designed for progressive collapse and blast protection.
The Deschutes County Public Safety Building and 911 Call Center houses county administrative services but also includes state-of-the-art laboratories for the Oregon State Police and other support functions. The building features solar panels that have the capacity to produce 25 Kw of electrical power.
