North Battleford Secure Mental Health Facility

Located in North Battleford, this hospital is the first mental health facility to be built in Saskatchewan, Canada, and is currently nearing completion. With personal rooms and naturally-lit common spaces, this 284-bed facility is designed to make patients feel like they are at home rather than in a hospital.

Southwest Family Health

This clinic is a full-service health center that tends to the medical needs of families and individual patients. The 45,000-square-foot complex was designed to help an under-served community and will be the first location to offer extended-hour urgent care center beyond Denver Health’s main campus.

Rady Children's Hospital

This children’s hospital offers state-of-the-art care for children's unique healthcare needs and is ranked among the nation’s top five children’s hospitals in Orthopedics and Neonatology by U.S. News World Report. The campus on which the hospital is situated is composed of a variety of different buildings and practices.

VA Loma Linda

The 271,000-square-foot care center is home to a variety of clinics that offer services to United States veterans. The design of the facility is unique in the fact that different departments and medical services are located in separate wings joined by a central, three-story atrium space.


Lochsa was the engineer of record for the new AmeriBen building, an 80,000 square foot concrete tilt-up structure. AmeriBen is a third-party healthcare provider headquartered in Meridian, Idaho.

Karcher Medical Office Building

This state-of-the-art facility will offer primary and urgent care specialty services, within the one story medical office building.

Arrowhead Skilled Nursing Facility

The Center at Arrowhead serves patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or complex nursing care. With state-of-the-art equipment, this facility maintains a 96 bed, 75,700 sq ft, 3 story skilled nursing unit.

St. Luke's Medical Plaza

Lochsa Engineering provided the Design/Build portion for this new 110,000 SF, three story medical  plaza  located on a 35 acre mixed use campus.The structural steel building contains concrete slab on deck floors and two concrete core stair towers for lateral resistance.

George E. Wahlen Medical Center

This two phase project; the first phase adds 14,400 SF to the existing facility while remodeling only a portion of the existing floor. The building is classified as “Mission Critical”, per VA standards and is designed for progressive collapse and blast protection.

Desert Orthopedic

A 2-story 28,000 square foot medical office building located on 2.2 acres in Henderson, Nevada.  Lochsa Engineering performed complete Civil, Flood Control, Surveying and structural design services.  The civil portion of the project included full site design including grading and street construction.  The flood control design efforts included the hydrologic analysis and hydraulic modeling of th
