For years, Las Vegas has welcomed some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. However, never before have any of those acts been given the opportunity to perform at such a state-of-the-art and innovative concert venue like the new Joint. With a capacity of over 4,000 and an innovative sound and lighting system, the new concert facility is one of the most sophisticated, intimate, and authentic venues in Las Vegas.
At nearly double the size of its predecessor, the new Joint features three-tier, multi-level seating including over 700 fixed balcony seats and seven premiere VIP hospitality suites. An 82,000 square foot column free open area with 121-foot clear spans creates flexibility to transform the venue and host a multitude of events.
Lochsa Engineering provided structural design for the Joint which consisted of structural steel framing with composite concrete floors and steel braced frames supported by a conventional concrete spread footing foundation. Lochsa’s civil team also provided the traffic design for this project.
